Google Maps and Google Earth

Don't forget about Google Maps and Google Earth when you are studying places in the world. There are many great images, street views, and panoramas that can enhance your lessons.
For example, today Google has a link to Ireland highlights. This collection has breathtaking views of Ireland's most popular sites.

Have you ever heard of a Google Lit Trip? These are great tours of popular novels that teachers have uploaded to share. Check out the site for some great Lit Trips on books such as Bud, Not Buddy by Christopher Paul Curtis, Flotsam by David Wiesner, Number the Stars by Lois Lowry, and Riding Freedom by Pam Munoz Ryan.
